Read the Senate Intelligence Report
In this otherwise provocative account from the NY Daily News, James Gordon Meek writes,
"[Joseph] Wilson shattered a pillar of President Bush's rationale for war - that Iraq was seeking to build a nuclear weapon."
This is a completely clueless statement. Is it really that hard for reporters to locate and read the Senate Intelligence Report, say pages 39 to 71? Pesky evidence.
It would, of course, be interesting if two CIA officials end up testifying against Libby. But, the lionizing of Joseph Wilson is ridiculous.
UPDATE: Looks like this story isn't very interesting at all. It's old news, or as Tom Maguire puts it, "no news."
