Ridiculous

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is openly rooting for Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's death.

Pat Robertson "seemed to suggest to viewers" on his TV show that "Sharon's stroke was divine retribution for 'dividing God's land' of Israel." Robertson is quoted as saying: "I prayed with him personally. But here he is at the point of death. He was dividing God's land, and I would say woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the EU, the United Nations or the United States of America."

For some reason, I am not surprised by either of these pieces of news.
